Sensible spelling to replace chaos!
English is used as an international language,
yet, it has a chaotic spelling system,
and what's more, it has a fully and completely confusing grammar, with more exceptions than rules

If you want to eliminate a spelling system that doesn't work, you must accept, then it has to be replaced with a system that does work.

Many scholars have offered a quick fix for us to adapt to make things better but any such 'fix' only confuses what we already have. The only solution is to build up a list of characters where each single character (or letter) represents only one unique sound.

When the Lingojam Movement was initiated, it was decided at an early meeting, that the Anglish 46 character alphabet would be used as it does exactly what is required. It provides one character for each of the 46 sounds found in everyday English.

We say, 'it does exactly what is required,' and that is fully 100% true. But it has been decided to make two small changes to the Anglish Sounds characters.

These two changes will not negate anything from the Anglish Sounds system. All of the characters can still be typed out on a laptop on any US or UK keyboard, and the four fonts can still be freely downloaded from Anglish Sounds.

The two small changes are to change the two 'th' sounds. The reason is that millions of Asians, from all parts of the Asian continent and learners in many other places; simply cannot pronounce, 'th.' English has 2 of them, each as tricky as each other for non-English speakers. These changes you can see, here.
